Alfa Romeo 4C marks a return to lightweight sports coupés for the brand. Advanced materials and construction ensure lightness and rigidity. Compact, agile and engineered for pure driving satisfaction. Supercar performance with impressive economy and emissions. Priced from £45,000 OTR
Designed, engineered and built as a pure driving machine, the all-new Alfa Romeo 4C is an uncompromised thoroughbred that marks the return to the world of lightweight sports coupés for the Alfa Romeo brand. Its natural beauty is defined by function; the need to wrap the engine and chassis in a compact, aerodynamically-efficient shape, making it a worthy descendent of one of the most beautiful coupés of all time: the Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale.
Built at the Maserati plant in Modena, the mid-engined Alfa Romeo 4C employs the latest technologies of Alfa Romeo’s newest models: the new, all-aluminium 1750 Turbo Petrol engine, the latest-generation
ALFA TCT dry twin clutch semi-automatic transmission and the Alfa D.N.A. driving mode selector – now with a new “Race” mode.
Carbon-fibre was chosen for the one-piece monocoque due its high levels of structural rigidity and exceptionally low weight – just 65kg
– and is built using sophisticated Formula 1-derived technologies, evolved especially for Alfa Romeo. SMC (Sheet Moulding Compound), which is lighter than both steel and aluminium, is used for the bodywork while even the thickness of the glass has been slimmed down by 15% to help reduce the Alfa Romeo 4C’s overall weight.
Less than 4m in length and with a wheelbase of 2.38m, the Alfa Romeo 4C’s compact shape accentuates its remarkable agility. With a dry weight of 895kg and a 40:60 front-to-rear weight distribution, the Alfa Romeo 4C is capable of generating 1.1g of lateral acceleration and in excess of 1.2g of deceleration force.
CITROËN DS3 has been voted best Super Mini in the most important driver survey, The What Car? JD Power Survey 2013.
With its amazing design and performance, it’s not too much of a surprise that drivers everywhere have fallen for it.
Citroën DS3 was the car they most enjoyed spending time in, with a beautiful interior, quality upholstery and a sound system to match.
However, we are proud to say that what really blew them away was the car’s performance. What’s not to love? To add to this awesome little package, Citroën DS3 boasted the lowest fuel, repair and service costs.
As if that wasn’t enough, owners were incredibly happy with the excellent service they received at our dealerships.
The UK’s top car buying websites have been detailed in a new report from the Auto Retail Network, which ranks car retail websites in terms of customer usability.
The Website Report 2013 looks at the websites of franchised dealers, independent used car dealers and car manufacturer sites, and ranks them based on criteria endorsed by experts at Google, Auto Trader, autotorq and MotoNovo Finance.
Motorparks topped the list of franchised dealer websites, thanks to strong performance on mobile devices as well as its consumer focus and engaging design.
Websites were judged and awarded across the following categories:
Website & Features
Motorparks earned recognition as the outstanding Website in the automotive sector. The website received exceptional scores for new car features and spec along with live finance quotes.
“We are very pleased to receive the award from Auto retail. This represents the first comprehensive study across the Automotive industry websites” said Ian Godbold Marketing Director. “It’s gratifying to be recognised for the creativity, innovation, and especially pleasing that the judges highlighted our attention towards consumer focus and ease of navigation as this is at the heart of everything we do, to ensure our guests receive the best and most informative experience when searching for their next vehicle purchase .”

The New Ford Fiesta ST is smart, stylish and crammed full of great new technology.
Also you won’t have to stop for fuel too often either thanks to the award-winning 1.0 EcoBoost petrol engine which combines power with exceptional fuel-efficiency of up to 65.7 mpg. The inverted trapezoid grille does bear a certain likeness to another well known brand that we sell in the group but does give the car a unique appeal. In addition to this there is the Fiesta ST which Richard Hammond from BBC’s Top Gear has called “a little stroke of genius”!
A range of innovative technologies will make your every drive safe, comfortable, entertaining and fun. Almost every model has Ford MyKey as standard which enables you to set the maximum speed, audio volume & seatbelt reminder, so that you are in control of what other users do with your car. In addition to this the Ford SYNC system integrates your android phone with the car & allows voice controls for making and receiving calls, controlling audio system and enables the sending and reading of text messages by voice.

The Citroen C4 Picasso Launch on 26th July was a great success here at Swindon Motor Park. Over 25 guests came in to see the new Citroen and we secured 6 orders for September. All of the guests were impressed with the space inside the car. Mr Canning referred to it as “like the Tardis” in Dr Who.
Since the launch weekend, the C4 Picasso has been on display at Sainsbury’s, allowing shoppers to see the car, sit in it and book appointments to test drive. The response has been great!
On the road the C4 Picasso is incredibly refined. The ride quality over all types of road surface is excellent and it is a superb long-distance companion. There is no question that the C4 Picasso is one of the most comfortable mid-size MPVs. The dashboard is split into two screens: a large central one that acts as a speedo and rev counter and can be personalised by the driver and a smaller touch screen lower down for the stereo, SatNav and ventilation controls.
Elsewhere there are massaging front seats, a panoramic sunroof, extended windscreen and airline seat-style foot rests. On the more practical side there are 16 storage areas around the cabin, a larger 630-litre boot and three individual rear seats (meaning three separate Isofix mountings when most traditional hatchbacks have only two). Much of the above has been seen before but together they help to make driving with the family that much easier.
The C4 Picasso is a desirable, grown-up and practical MPV choice.
If you would like a test drive call us now on 0844 248 8405. The Citroen C4 Picasso is available at Swindon Motor Park here now.

Doves Volvo Horsham has scooped a major award and has been acknowledged as one of the UK’s top performers.
The award recognises the very best performance over a number of key measures, with Guest satisfaction ranked one of the highest indicators.
The Doves Horsham team was singled out for their passion for the brand and commitment to Guest care, which Doves aim to have at its heart and is one of the four pillars that underpin the company. Conrad Staines said:
“This is a fantastic achievement for the entire team who work very hard to deliver high levels of service to our Guests. The great thing about this award is that it underlines how important all roles are within our dealership and how well each and every member of the team has
Volvo Car UK area manager Chris Francis presented the trophy to the dealership team to mark their achievement. Conrad added “The V40R Design is absolutely stunning with dynamic driving characteristics and latest innovative safety features.” The dealership is open from 8.30 am to 6.00 pm Monday to Friday. Swindon Motorpark is celebrating after being named as the South West’s best franchised garage in the 2013 Motor Codes Garage of the Year
The feat achieved by Swindon Motor Park SEAT means that it is now one of the 20 most trusted garages in the UK. Ben Crudgington, Operations Director at Swindon Motor Park SEAT, enthused:
“We work as hard as we can to ensure that all our guests receive the very best service and advice possible”.
“The award is evidence that our commitment to maintaining these high standards is acknowledged by our loyal guests.”
The Motor Codes top 20 regional Garage of the Year winners list is made up of 10 franchised main dealers and 10 independent garages. Around 11,500 garage customers from across the UK voted in this year’s Motor Codes competition to endorse the first-class customer experiences
they have enjoyed at one of 7,250 garages within the network. Chris Mason, MD of Motor Codes, said:
“This is about putting trustworthy garages in the shop window, giving their customers a way to show their appreciation and, importantly, ensuring that people don’t have to feel anxious about choosing a garage.”
“Interestingly, our final vote total, gathered over six weeks, was more than the number of complaints relating to car service and repair recorded by Citizens Advice for the whole of last year.”
Motor Codes was set up by the motor industry to act as the self-regulatory body for the automotive sector and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT). It operates three codes of practice – the new car code, the service and repair code and the vehicle warranty products code.
The regional winners had their votes and customer feedback analysed by a panel of motoring experts chaired by Chris Mason and including TV presenter Vicki Butler-Henderson, Auto Express editor-in-chief Steve Fowler and lead Trading Standards motoring officer Tim Milsom.
At £5,995, the Dacia Sandero is the cheapest new car on the market – but is it worth considering?
Dacia is a new brand on the UK market – essentially a budget sub- brand owned by French giant Renault but based in Romania. Dacia has just launched the Duster SUV in the UK – and now it’s bringing in a new supermini called the Sandero.
With launch prices starting at just £5,995, the Sandero is a headline- grabber, as it’s the cheapest new car on sale in the UK. Yet it’s the same size as regular superminis like the Ford Fiesta, and its hatchback boot will swallow a claimed 320 litres, which is bigger than the new Renault Clios.
Specification is pared right down to keep costs low – for instance, the £5,995 Access model doesn’t even have an audio system and only comes with white paint and black bumpers. The entry level is available on finance from as little as £69 per month. However, this base model is devoid of almost any creature comforts. In contrast, the most expensive 1.5 dCi Laureate Sandero, with air con and electric windows, costs £9,795.
The Sandero made history for Dacia in January in one of the most important automotive markets in Europe. The new generation of Sandero managed to reach the first position in sales in Spain becoming the first Dacia model that was the best selling car in a country outside Romania.
Every new Dacia is covered by a standard 3 year / 60,000 mile* warranty package. Your new Dacia also comes with a 2 year paintwork warranty, as well as a 6 year anti-corrosion warranty.

Mazda’s new-generation flagship Mazda 6 has arrived at Northampton Motors following its unveiling at the Paris Motor Show on 27 September 2012. Prices for petrol models will start at £19,595 OTR for the 2.0-litre 145ps Saloon SE, rising to £24,865 for the 2.0-litre 165ps Tourer Sport Nav. Diesel variants start at £21,795 for the 2.2-litre 150ps Saloon SE through to £28,045 for the 2.2-litre 175ps Tourer/Saloon Sport Nav Auto.
The all-new Mazda6 – now in its third generation – is the first mass- production Mazda model to be equipped with i-ELOOP, the Japanese company’s unique brake energy regeneration system. Fitted as standard to the majority of Mazda6 models sold in the UK, this innovative system can boost economy by up to 10 percent with combined fuel economy as high as 67.3mpg and emissions as low as 108g/km – without any sacrifice in performance – based on CO2, depending on driving conditions.
The SKYACTIV-Body offers class-leading impact protection thanks to highly rigid impact-absorbing structures and innovative load paths to disperse energy away from the cabin. To help the driver avoid accidents, the all-new Mazda6 features an impressive array of advanced active safety technologies (depending on model) such as radar-based Rear Vehicle Monitoring, Smart City Brake Support (SCSB) and Lane Departure Warning System. Even when a collision is unavoidable, passive safety technologies work to diminish its severity for occupants and pedestrians – and even the vehicle itself.
Passengers will appreciate the relaxing atmosphere in the cabin, which features segment-leading passenger space on the Saloon models, accompanied by the latest infotainment technology, including an 11-speaker BOSE® surround sound audio system, available on Sport models.
Specially developed to highlight the features of the Mazda6’s KODO design, Soul Red Metallic is an all-new body colour, which uses a unique process to deliver unprecedented levels of depth, shading and vividness that accentuate all-new Mazda6’s stunning form and character lines. Blue Reflex Mica, Meteor Grey Mica and Jet Black Mica also debut on the all- new Mazda6.
